BVI’s Destinations
-
Cooper Island - BVI's
I great place to grab a mooring ball and go into Cooper Island Beach Club for dinner. The wreck of the RMS Rhone is just off nearby Salt Island for the more ambitious divers.
-
Norman Island - BVI's
Home to the famous Willy T’s floating bar the Pirates Bight offers mooring balls and a couple of restaurants. Take the dinghy to Treasure Point for some great snorkeling with small caves and enjoy the anchorage as it quiets down in the early evening.
-
The Baths - BVI's
Get to the baths early in the morning to explore the rock formations along the coast. Enjoy snorkeling and a hike up to the top for a great view and a bite to eat. National Park permit is required and there are some mooring balls and a dinghy tie up.
-
Bitter End yacht Club - BVI's
Enjoy the famous Bitter End Yacht club for a night. One of the only anchorages where you can make reservations weeks ahead of time (They also have FCFS balls). Enjoy the Yacht Club restaurants or take the free water taxi over to Saba Rock for lunch or dinner.
-
White Bay - BVI's - Jost Van DYke
Home to the famous Soggy Dollar bar, inventor of the Pain Killer. Most charter companies won’t let you anchor or moor in White Bay but around the point is Great Harbour where you can grab a mooring ball and dinghy or taxi over to the beach. If chartering out of USVI’s this make a good last night in BVI’s as you can check out in Great Harbour.
